Faces of Homelessness - The eCourse
Faces of Homelessness is a national education and awareness initiative that addresses the realities of homelessness. This five-module course explores the social, political, legal, and personal issues associated with poverty and homelessness in America.
Produced in Key West, Florida by a team of AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers, this project is designed for use in high schools and colleges across the country.
OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
- to increase public awareness of the facts surrounding homelessness in America, and,
- to explore ways we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors who are in the least fortunate of situations.
